Quality Agreements for Private-Label Dental Materials
A quality agreement clarifies operational responsibilities between the manufacturer, brand owner, importer and any local packaging partner.

List legal parties, sites, product scope and presentations covered. Commercial brand names should be linked to the manufacturer’s controlled product identity. Avoid agreements so general that neither team can apply them to a real batch.
State who approves product specifications, packaging components, artwork and finished release. Define which certificates and batch documents are supplied. The agreement should not conflict with market-specific legal responsibilities.
Set notification and approval expectations for material, process, supplier, site, equipment, packaging and document changes. Include emergency handling when a change is required to protect supply or quality.
Describe notification timelines, information exchange, investigation roles, retained samples and customer communication. If the brand owner receives complaints, the manufacturer needs sufficient product and batch detail to investigate effectively.
Define batch coding, distribution information, record retention, confidentiality and access during audits or market action. Local relabelling or kitting must not break the connection to the manufacturing batch.
Prices, forecasts and payment terms may sit in the commercial agreement while quality responsibilities remain stable. Cross-reference documents and control revisions so both teams know which requirements govern each order.
