Verify formulation or product specification, batch size, presentation, artwork, document revisions and customer order. Resolve differences before materials are issued.
Ensure raw materials and packaging are from approved sources, within status and available in sufficient quantity. Confirm certificates, sampling and release. Substitutions require assessment, not verbal approval.
Confirm equipment identification, maintenance, calibration, cleaning status, utilities and room readiness. Required change parts, tools and test equipment should be available before the schedule begins.
Prepare the correct batch record, packaging instruction, test plan and labels. Train or brief the assigned staff on product-specific risks and any approved changes.
Identify in-process checks, laboratory samples, retained samples and release responsibilities. Agree how deviations and line stoppages will be handled. The team should know who can authorize continuation.
Confirm customer packaging, shipping conditions, certificates and communication route after release. Record readiness approval and open actions. A launch date should follow readiness evidence, not replace it.
