The IFU addresses the exact product
Approved instructions for use correspond to the exact product and its released presentation. Language, document reference and revision should be clear so the applicable instruction can be identified without ambiguity.
When requesting safety documentation, identify the exact material and target market. The information needed by a handling or safety team should not be inferred from a competitor’s file or from a product illustration.
Batch records identify the supplied material
Specifications, batch-related documents and packaging information serve different purposes. Agree which documents are supplied with an order and which are available through the technical team.
Make the request specific
Send the product name, catalogue entry, presentation and destination country. If the request concerns supplied material, include the lot or batch identifier. Denterr can then identify the applicable available documents without silently substituting a similar product.
